MobileLink Qualcomm With Smartfren SIM Card at Linux Mint /Ubuntu

WHEN I PLUGGED MY MODEM DID NOT RECOGNIZE AS MODEM.
Mobilelink-Qualcomm CDMA/EVDO modem is not automatically detected by Linux Mint or Ubuntu as a modem. So when you will connect it to the internet it needs to detect as modem first. This modem is detected as Usb Mass Storage Qualcomm.

CHECK USB
Open your TERMINAL....
Enter to super user with type this code

$ su

then enter and give your password and enter once again. Type code

#lsusb

then enter and you will see something like this (below)

Bus 002 Device 008: ID 05c6:1000 Qualcomm, Inc. Mass Storage Device
Bus 002 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0002 Linux Foundation 2.0 root hub
Bus 001 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0002 Linux Foundation 2.0 root hub
.............................................................

Qualcomm Mass Storage Device,.... modem has not been recognizing till here.
You can remove Usb Storage in order to change it into modem/usb serial.

#rmmod usb_storage

If it not work you can use command below;

to show where the qualcomm storage device as CD-ROM, type

#dmesg|grep "CD-ROM"

the you will see kind like this below:

with rmmod is not working, so you can eject it with eject command. And CD-ROM of Qualcomm MMC storage is CD-ROM sr1, so you can eject it.

#sudo eject /dev/sr1

After ejected you will see qualcomm storage by show USB device.

#lsusb

Qualcomm storage now has been ejected and device is only USB.

Bus 002 Device 008: ID 19f5:9909

You have to know that ID of qualcomm is 19f5 as vendor
and the product is 9909.

Last action on terminal is to make the modem detected.

#modprobe usbserial vendor=0x19f5 product=0x9909

And hit enter button.

SETTING IN NETWORK
If you need wvdial, you can download after internet is connected.

#sudo apt-get install wvdial


Enter in to Network Connection setting by right click on the icon (you can see in your desktop, at the right-bottom corner).
Click EDIT CONNECTION>>MOBILE BROADBAND>>ADD>>Click it
Foreward>>Indonesia>>Foreward>>I can't.....>>provider:smartfren>>APPLY>>username:smart, password:smart, dial/access number:#777. You can make it connect automatically by choose it.

Restart your system if it does not connect automatically.
NOW THE MOBILELIKN QUALCOMM WITH SMARTFREN CDMA/EVDO HAS TO BE CONNECTED.

WHY MY ALEXA RANK GETTING DOWN AND DOWN ?
Sometimes I have lose my Modem and I haven't internet conncetion. Uppss.... my alexa rank is going down, because I did not give maintenance to my website. About 4 months my alexa rank has decrase from 2,0 M down to 7,4 M,... Oh My GOD, I am so afraid, and very confuse what I will have to do. Untill now the decrasing is still occuring.

HOW TO RAISE IT AGAIN

AXIOO PICO PJM AUDIO AND WEBCAM

AXIO PICO PJM TYPE
When I installed Netbook Axioo Pico Type PJM and with Windows XP platform, this netbook is faster than was installed by Win 7, so Win XP will be my choice. With my DVD driver you can install the driver there.

AUDIO AND WEBCAM APPLICATION
I can mention that
1. Wifi is Realtek Wireless
2. LAN is JMicron
3. Cardreader is Jmicron
4. VGA is Intel Graphic GMA 315
5. Audio is Via HDaudio (not realtek hd audio)

RED BLINK AT WIRELESS ROUTER ADSL 3COM (3CRWDR200-75)

RED BLINKING AT ALERT LED
When this is happened the connection of our router must be interupted. And even can not connect anymore. So, what should we do ?
There are two condition of this problem :
1. If the hardware (wireless router) that damage, the only way is replace it.
2. If the software that maybe obsolete or need to be updated,or just need to reset it.

How To Reset It
Shutdown/unplug power supply (jack) of router, and then you push/hit RESET button near power plug hole, hold on it for 30scons, and plug power, the connection of your router must be good after that.

How to Update Firmware?
1. Shutdown router and unplug the power, same as reset, you hit/push and hold RESET Button, then plug-in power and keep holding your hit/push at RESET Button, untill ALERT LED (red) blinking, hold on for 30secons.
2. Open your browser (Internet Explorer or Mozilla Firefox), type on URL :192.168.1.1, and you can see....

3. Click BROWSE to look for your file update. You can download firmware (file update) Version 3.6.4. Please download here.
This file in RAR/ZIP form, you Extract it first, and will be come file with extension .img, that you will look for from BROWSE box. And click UPDATE box.

4. After that the firmware being update for about 2 minutes. And automatically the ALERT LED will turn-off when the file update is done. You can see it.

5. If everthing is normal, your wireless router will be OK again.

Another Way
My friend told me, you can try this way before you update your firmware.
Just disable SPI, Hacker Pattern and Anti-Dos Firewall and everything works fine!
