WHEN YOUR HARDDISK OR EXTERNAL HARDDISK BECOME UNALLOCATED

UNALLOCATED

When your harddrive/external harddrive become unallocated because of any malfunction such as "not detect in windows", "hidden but there are not volume or driver appear in your windows explorer file", and just not appear. You can see this harddisk/harddrive only in "disk management", that you can open 

1. Windows XP , click left mouse on START, find  MY COMPUTER and click right mouse, then click left mouse again on MANAGE....you will see COMPUTER MANAGEMENT and you will find DISK MANAGEMENT.... You will shortcut of long way to this disk management. Click left mouse and enter in to RUN, in the RUN box tpye (without quotes) "diskmgmt.msc" and hit ENTER....

2. Win 7 use the shortcut, but in order to open RUN, type "run" in the search box, then ENTER,... when run box is open type "diskmgmt.msc" and hit Enter once again.

3. Win 8 , search word RUN, the same step with win 7

4. Win 10 , if you want short cut probably win 10 is the best, the steps will be like this: find Start and right click your mouse and in the scroll box, just choose Disk Management, click on it. 

All steps above you've done is in order to see DISK MANAGEMENT where unallocated harddisk or external harddisk you can see in your computer (windows operating system). See the picture. 

USE HIREN'S CD BOOT VERSION 15.2 

You can boot from hiren's cd or running it in the windows. When running in hiren's cd, choose boot priority in your computer with boot squence CD/DVD ROM is the FIRST BOOT, or Choose Boot Menu - by hitting F8, F9, F12, ESC different key maybe in different brand of your computer. After booting choose by hitting arrow on your keyboard (up and down), there are many choices, select windows live, you can select win xp or win 7 - the newer computer recomanded with win 7. OK ... windows live is running now ? 

Find the HBcD TOOLS, Disk Tools, Partition Wizard Technician Edition 7.8, Click on it...

Click Disk Tools

And Click on Partition Wizard Technician Edition 7.8, hit Enter (or double left click your mouse)

Point and click the mark/cursor on the unallocated harddisk that you can recognize. Now, watch in the left list there is "Partition Recovery", that's right... this tool that can recovery your an unallocated harddisk or external harddisk. Just running it, by clicking your (left) mouse.

Please choose, on "Scanning Range" value : unallocated.... and hit next in the bottom of wizard's box, maybe this process will take several minutes, be patient....

Apply all processes in this tool a.k.a "Partition Wizard Technician Edition 7.8", by clicking "apply" with your mouse. After all process is done, the partition with "unallocated" mark, will be appear normaly, with volume and value/name that you give before.

NOTE:

 I'm sorry to say this : all the risks of this tutorial is your own responsibility.

This tutorial will work in the condition with healthy harddisk/external harddisk. I do not try this tool with damage (severe damage) harddisk or external harddisk. If everything running well, any data in your harddisk or external harddisk will not lost.

The wiser way, come to the recomanded computer technician.

PROBLEM IN MY ACER ASPIRE V5-471G BLUETOOTH PERIPHERAL DEVICE DRIVER

JUST SHARING WITH YOU.
For long time, as you know, this blog has  been "keep silent" and "do not posting",... and there are many reasons for that, Thanks GOD, here I am... seem will share about many things useful again with all of you. And thanks for visiting my blog, once again.

BLUETOOTH QUALCOMM ATHEROS.
You can download in Acer's website, with clue : Notebook, Acer, Aspire V5-471G, choose your Operating System (in my case : Win 7 32/64bit), here the link.
Extract it, and "install" the executable file (.exe), until done.

THE DRIVER OF BLUETOOTH PERIPHERAL DEVICE STILL UNRECOGNIZE?
Here the main problem, in order to make the notebook able to transfer file via Bluetooth, the driver of bluetooth peripheral must be installed. Don't worry, you just doing a little bit step to find the driver.
The steps simply like this (in this case WINDOWS 7):
1. Open "Device Manager", you can do it with two ways:
a. click START button, and than type inside the box with "RUN" the hit Enter.
    Inside the box type "DEVMGMT.MSC" and then hit anter. Device manager 
    must be appear.
b. Right clik on COMPUTER, than Left Click MANAGE, then click Device  
    Manager.
2. In Device Manager, you can see there TWO  "bluetooth peripheral device" that we found without driver,  we have to find their driver.
3. Right clik on  the first "bluetooth peripheral device", then "update the driver".
4. Choose the step that NOT automatically searching. "Browse my computer for driver software"... "clik on it."
5. Then click "Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer"
6. Find "Ports (COM & LPT) , click on it.
7. There are many manufactures, you choose "Microsoft" and click " standard serial over Bluetooth link", and click "Yes"...
8. Do the same way with the other the second "bluetooth peripheral device" below the first one.
9. I hope this "littel trick" will help you.

HOW TO MAKE EPSON LX-300 "RUNNING WELL" IN WINDOWS SEVEN

DRIVERS SOLUTION
Epson Lx-300 (lx-800), is LPT1's port needed printer. If you don't have any LPT1 port on your PC motherboard, you should use the USB to LPT1 converter. But motherboard with LPT1 is the easiest way to this printer (epson lx-300/800). I will share my little experience which might be useful for you.

When you plugged your LX-300 printer with LPT1 port on PC, first you should "enable LPT1" too.
1.  Browse >> Computer>>right click>>Manage>>device manager>>ports(com and lpt).
2.  Make sure LPT1 is on.
3.  Go to Control Panel >>add device and printer >> add printer >> local printer (if your computer is stand alone), or network printer (if your  computer is the part of networking system/office) >>choose LPT1 port>>Epson>>Lx-series1(80)>>ok...
4. Done.

TYPE OF LX-300+ or LX-300II
These printer with USB PORT and LPT 1, but in win 7 is easier use USB PORT than LPT1 port, because with USB PORT has it built-up driver in win 7.

REPLACEMENT FOR SIERRA 875U/881U MODEM BATTERAY

WHEN RED LIGHT ON YOUR MODEM GLOWING

After lack of potential voltage on this battery (modem sierra 875U/881U) then "the red light" on the lower indicator LED is glowing, and the connection will interrupt, will close. Normally when the potential voltage strong enough for the modem the green light that will glow, and the connection will occur if the POWER LED indicator and DATA LED indicator (upper LED) both is glowing.

 REPLACEMENT FOR THE BATTERY

The best replacement for this battery is the original one bought on Sierra's Battery Shops, but when you just like me, not found the best one,.... one of probabilities to make modification with other battery. With the certain voltage as high as sierra battery's voltage, that : 3,7 V with 950mAh, you can buy battery with the same voltage and ampere (electric current), I bought BL-5C battery with 3,7V and 1000mAh, it doesn't matter when ampere (electric current) bigger/higher than default (950mAh), because the machine (modem) will use electric current as much as it needed (aka:950mAh). But when we talk about voltage, you can not use the higher voltage for every machine (include modem, TV, radio, etc). 

DIAGRAMS

Prepare the tools that we needed, wires (use two different color, red and black, each length about one inch), soldering /iron soldering, tin soldering, 20-40K Ohm resistor, and duck tape. 

The BL-5C battery contain 3 poles of pins, Positive Pole (left), Negative Pole (middle) and Negative pole (right), For making the BL-5C battery charging you must join the Negative pole (middle) and Negative pole (right) with 20K Ohm resistor. See the diagrams below:

You join the Positive Pole on BL-5C and the Positive Pole on the Sierra modem, join them with soldering, and so the outer negative pole on the BL-5C joined with outer (right) negative pole on the modem. You can see the diagram below. For placing the replacement battery is according to your creativity.

3G WATCHER WITH VOICE CALL (PHONE CALL) FEATURE

MODEM SIERRA - USB 875U OR USB 881U - ALTERNATIVE SOFTWARE

You can download in the Sierra's website. This link and choose your type of product. For example : type Usb Modem Sierra 875U, with : Windows Xp as the OS (Operating System), and you will get "3G WATCHER GENERIC", ...with extension :".msi",....atc.

3G WATCHER, ALTERNATIVE SOFTWARE INSTEAD OF AT&T CONNECTION MANAGER.

With 3G Watcher is simpler than its original Software (AT&T Connection Manager), that embeded/included in the (image file), on the modems (from type :88x), because type USB 875U has not embeded by this software file.

3G WATCHER WITH VOICE/PHONE CALL SOFTWARE

Right now, in the Sierra Website (Sierra Link) there is no 3G Watcher software with this feature (voice/phone call), so when I finally found my (enclosed) old CD from my Modem USB 875U, there is 3G Watcher that I 've been looking for. You can see the picture below. 

It will make our Sierra Modems can become "telephone", so we can activate new SIM card from it. Make phone call to "the real telephone/Hp". I will give you the link of this "old" but "precious" software. In my modem USB 875U will detect the bandwidth only : 3.6Mbps with this software.

NOTE: This software is worked with my USB modem 875U (there is no GPS on it), but May be this is not working at other higher type as, USB 881U.  But I have firmware to enable/disable voice/call feature.
